About Vercrio
Authentication built on verified humans
A small team of security researchers and platform engineers on a mission to end phishing at the source.
Vercrio was founded on a simple observation: the security industry kept adding more factors to authentication while attackers kept finding ways around them. SMS codes, push prompts, magic links — all phishable in seconds with the kits sold openly on Telegram. We started Vercrio to attack the root cause: knowing for certain who is on the other end of the login.
Our mission is to stop credential theft and social engineering at the front door. We do it with two things working together — identity that is verified at onboarding, and authentication that is cryptographically bound to the verified person. We call the first PeerProofing™ and the second Lucid Auth™, and shipped together they remove the most exploited attack vector of the last decade.
Vercrio is built privacy-first. Biometric templates never leave the user's device. Verification recordings are retained only as long as the workspace policy allows. We don't train on customer data and we don't share it. The same engineering culture that produced our cryptography drives how we handle the bytes that flow through our systems.
The team is small and senior — builders from identity, infrastructure, and applied cryptography. We ship security that real teams actually use, not security that gets bypassed because the friction was too high. Most of all, we ship the thing the industry has been working around for twenty years: a login flow that knows it's really you.
